Can I steam while trying to conceive?

Steaming can be a useful tool to use during your conception journey. If you are currently trying to conceive, you may steam every month until ovulation. Once you have ovulated and have had intercourse with the goal of pregnancy, stop steaming. Steaming after conception can cause a miscarriage in early pregnancy.

If you are having difficulty conceiving and would like to use vaginal steaming to help you on your journey, it is highly recommended that you and your partner pause conception efforts for 3-6 months in order to regulate your cycle and prepare your body for a baby! Although this may seem scary and impossible, it is the best course of action to take. Utilizing this pause and steaming for the whole month will heal your body of imbalances much faster, can improve your egg quality, and balance hormones. All of which are imperative to a healthy pregnancy and baby.
